Graduating from the University of Jordan’s medical school, Dr. Shahin went on to fulfill his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Iowa. Throughout his training, he actively engaged in research aimed at enhancing arteriovenous access in dialysis patients. Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology, Dr. Shahin specializes in addressing a range of kidney issues, including those associated with hypertension, diabetes, glomerular diseases, pregnancy, and post-transplant care.
