Dr. Almario attended medical school at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines. His internal medicine, residency, and nephrology fellowship were completed at the Makati Medical Center, Philippines. In order to work as a nephrologist in the United States, he completed another internal medicine residency at DC General Hospital and nephrology fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital. He has been practicing in Baltimore since 1995. He has particular interests in chronic kidney disease and hypertension. Dr. Almario is married and has four children. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, running, and cycling.ling.
