Dr. Seiken attended the University of Virginia and received her MD degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. She received her postgraduate medical training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and served in the military for 13 years. Her previous research was on the topic of acute renal failure. Dr. Seiken is married with 3 children and enjoys cooking, hockey, and golf.
